Fabricator – First Shift

YOUAs a Fabricator, you will be responsible for bending, seating, flanging and top flanging material according to work order and production drawing specifications in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency and lean production goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Machine Set‑Up, Programming, and Operation – 40%
Independently performs set‑up, programming, troubleshooting, and operation of one or more production machines, including:
Automatic presses, Turret presses, and Utility presses (shears, press brakes, manual presses)
Ensure machines run efficiently, safely, and to required specifications.

Fabrication and Layout Work – 25% Performs layout, fabrication, and assembly tasks needed to meet production requirements.

Creates and fabricates customer specialty items when required.

Troubleshooting and Quality Control – 15%
Diagnoses mechanical and process issues with equipment or fabricated parts.

Verifies accuracy of completed work using measuring tools and quality standards.

Equipment Maintenance and Safety Compliance – 10%
Conducts basic equipment care, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.

Follows all safety, operational, and company production procedures.

Training and Team Support – 10%
Trains and assists other production employees.

Provides guidance on machine operations, safety practices, and fabrication techniques DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Mathematical Reasoning:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Operation Monitoring:
Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

TRAVEL REQUIRED This position requires domestic travel up to 5% of the time.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Riverside CA.RELOCATION is not available for this position.
