What you will do:

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations.
• Keep accurate care records.
• Follow outlined procedures, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with medication policy and procedures and maintain required documentation.
• Speak, read, and understand English fluently.

Must haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid first aid certification and, where required by state, current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant certification, and related evaluations. Maintain continuing education and required licenses.
• Speak, read, and understand English fluently.
• Experience in a similar facility is preferred.

Physical requirements:

• Prolonged periods walking or standing.
• Ability to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop and push constantly.

Would be great:

• Experience working in assisted living.

Pay rate $19.00-$21.50 per hour DOE.
