SEIU in Chicago is seeking energetic individuals for the Union Organizer-In-Training program in the Midwest. This 12-month training program assigns organizers to campaigns and teaches the fundamentals of union organizing, with opportunities to learn skills to build power in the workplace.
The program trains labor organizers to empower non-union workers to join unions and differs from political or electoral training. This is a full-time salaried position with extensive travel and benefits.
