The Location

Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well‑being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254‑bed nursing facility.

The Position

We're looking for a passionate Scheduling Assistant to ensure appropriate staffing within the neighborhood, modifying schedules as needed and communicating schedule changes to managers and staff in a timely manner.

  • Prepares monthly staffing schedules in accordance with established standards and budgetary guidelines.
  • Assists in preparing weekly work assignments with consideration for resident and neighborhood needs and staff licensure.
  • Reconciles electronic time‑keeping system.
  • Provides weekend coverage and as needed in the absence of the Scheduling Coordinator.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum age of 18.
  • 1 year of administrative or health‑care experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in‑house).
