Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily shop operations and technician workflow
  • Assist with diagnostics and complex automotive repairs
  • Support and mentor automotive technicians
  • Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and quality standards
  • Coordinate job assignments and maximize shop efficiency
  • Work closely with service advisors and management
  • Maintain productivity, quality control, and shop organization
Qualifications
  • Experience as an automotive technician, lead technician, or shop foreman
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Ability to manage workflow and prioritize repairs
  • Personal tools required
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
Required Skills
  • Strong skills in automotive diagnostics, repair, and shop management, including engine repair, drivability diagnostics, suspension, brake systems, electrical systems, and advanced troubleshooting
  • Experience leading technician teams, managing shop workflow, and ensuring productivity and efficiency
  • Knowledge of dealership operations, repair order flow, quality control, and technician performance management
  • Ability to balance hands‑on repair work with leadership responsibilities in a high‑volume service environment
