Overview
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.
Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.
The PACT Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive outpatient care for a panel of adult patients at the community-based outpatient clinics in Wailuku, HI (Maui). Provide comprehensive Primary Care to a panel of assigned patients using the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model of care delivery. The patient care provider contributes to achieving Performance Measure clinical outcome targets in the area of access to care, quality of care, efficiency, process improvement, and patient satisfaction.

- Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm - Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases - Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days annual leave, 13 days sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year, and possible 5 days for CME)

The primary duties include, but are not limited to, providing comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients and supporting the goals of the PACT model of care delivery. The role contributes to improving access to care, quality of care, efficiency, process improvement, and patient satisfaction.
