Campbell-Kapolei Complex Area: Workforce Development Complex Area Teacher

Position Overview

This position will serve as the Workforce Development and Transition Resource Teacher for the Campbell-Kapolei Complex Area. The teacher will support schools (K‑12) and the Complex Area as a whole in Workforce Development through college and career exposure, exploration, and experiences. The role also supports Workforce Development and Transition initiatives in collaboration with State and community partners.

• Support schools (K‑12) and the Campbell‑Kapolei Complex Area in Workforce Development activities.
• Provide college and career exposure, exploration, and experiential learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with State and community partners on Workforce Development and Transition initiatives.

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Upon hire, a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit is required.
• If not completing a Teacher's Education Program, the teacher must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license within 3 years of hire and enroll in a program to continue employment.
• In each year of employment, the teacher must demonstrate active pursuit of Hawaii licensing requirements as set forth by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB).
• Applicants must ensure that the enrolled program aligns with the teaching line hired for.
