Part-Time Children's Instructor
Kakaʻako, Honolulu | Hiring Now
Starting Pay: $18-$22/hour

Have you ever thought it would be fun to be like Ms. Rachel, The Wiggles, Blippi, or Barney?

That's kind of what we do at My Treehouse Club-but we also educate, encourage, and build meaningful relationships with children and their families!

We are looking for a fun, energetic, and dependable person to join our team of children's instructors. You do not need to be a professional performer or gymnast. We can teach you our curriculum and class structure! What matters most is that you genuinely love working with children, are comfortable being silly, and are willing to learn.

Our instructors sing songs, dance, lead games and obstacle courses, perform puppet shows, teach basic movement skills, and help children build confidence—all while making learning fun.

My Treehouse Club is a children's learning academy serving infants through approximately 5th grade. Our programs include:

• Grown-Up & Me and Big Kid Fitness
• Basic gymnastics and movement
• Studio Art
• Japanese Language and Culture
• Preschool Prep
• Birthday parties and Parent's Night Out
• Seasonal camps, mobile programs, and special events

This may be a great fit for you if you are:

• Fun, friendly, energetic, and comfortable being silly
• Confident speaking in front of children and parents
• Active and willing to sing, dance, and move during class
• Dependable, professional, and open to feedback
• Interested in building meaningful relationships with children and families
• At least 18 years old

Experience working with children is preferred, but we are open to training the right person. Backgrounds in childcare, teaching, camps, dance, cheer, theatre, gymnastics, sports, art, or music are all a plus!

Position Requirements:

• Approximately 12-18 hours per week
• Availability for one weekend shift
• Availability for Thursday staff training from 12:00-3:00 PM
• Comfortable working with infants through elementary-aged children
• Background check required

Paid training begins at $18 per hour. Most trained instructors earn approximately $18-$22 per hour, with opportunities for additional hours, tips, special events, mobile programs, camps, and future leadership roles.
