Position: Project Engineer

Location: Kahului, HI

Pay: $39.80/hour

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Type: Full-time;
Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Employers Options is seeking a Project Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description
  • Support Project Managers with daily project administration and coordination
  • Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and document control
  • Assist with change order preparation, pricing support, and tracking
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
  • Maintain project logs, meeting minutes, and correspondence
  • Assist with safety documentation, including Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs)
  • Support project close-out activities, including O&M manuals, warranties, and turnover documentation
  • Track warranties and ensure proper documentation is completed and archived
  • Use Bluebeam and Microsoft Office tools to review, edit, and manage project documents
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities

Position Requirements
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
