The State of Hawai'i Department of Taxation seeks a Tax Examiner to review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and small domestic corporations to determine proper taxation under Hawaii Revised Statutes.
Duties include interviewing taxpayers, analyzing financial information, and applying General Excise, use, withholding, TA, and other tax rules while performing arithmetic calculations. Graduation from an accredited college may substitute for general experience.
