Salary: Commensurate with Education & Experience.

OverviewThe prop is located in the Property Management & Maintenance Services Branch. The primary purpose of the position is to analyze proposals for the management of rental properties, review property management agreements to ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations, monitor contract agreements, coordinate and conduct special inspections, resolve complaints, and conduct tenant file reviews to verify compliance with state and federal regulations for housing program eligibility.
Responsibilities- Analyze proposals for management of rental properties.
- Review property management agreements for compliance with state and federal rules.
- Monitor contract agreements for compliance.
- Coordinate and conduct special inspections.
- Resolve complaints.
- Conduct tenant file reviews to verify compliance.
- Education:
Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, social sciences, or a closely related field. - Experience:
Minimum two years of specialized experience in property evaluation and operations of residential and/or commercial properties, including efficient utilization and maintenance of real property. - Knowledge:
Property management techniques; state and federal rules and regulations relating to property management and public housing; public housing and property management contract and lease agreements. - Skills/Abilities:
Establishes positive relationships with property managers; reads and comprehends rules and regulations and interprets their relevance to project operations; uses personal computer.
Exempt from civil service. If appointed, employment will be considered “at will.”
