CACI is seeking an experienced Socio-Cultural Integration Planner Lead, Senior to support mission planning and operational integration across the Indo-Pacific. The Socio-Cultural Integration Planner Lead, Senior serves as CACI's senior socio-cultural planning professional responsible for analyzing the operational environment and integrating political, military, economic, social, information, infrastructure, physical environment, and cultural (PMESII-PT) factors into logistics, mission support, operational planning, and partner engagement activities.
Reporting directly to the Operations Lead, this position provides expert analysis and recommendations that enhance mission effectiveness by incorporating human terrain, regional dynamics, cultural considerations, and partner nation perspectives into operational decision-making.
The Socio-Cultural Integration Planner Lead works closely with Government stakeholders, operational planners, intelligence analysts, logistics planners, civil affairs personnel, information operations professionals, Special Operations Forces, interagency organizations, coalition partners, host nation representatives, and academic organizations to assess regional conditions, identify socio-cultural risks and opportunities, and develop integrated planning products supporting steady-state, contingency, and emergent operations. This position contributes to successful program execution by improving operational understanding, strengthening partner integration, and enhancing mission planning throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.
Responsibilities- Lead socio-cultural analysis supporting operational planning, logistics planning, mission partner engagement, and contingency operations.
- Conduct comprehensive PMESII-PT and human terrain analyses to support operational planning and decision-making.
- Assess political, social, cultural, economic, tribal, ethnic, religious, and governance factors affecting mission success.
- Develop socio-cultural assessments, operational environment analyses, and regional studies supporting Government planning efforts.
- Integrate socio-cultural considerations into operational plans, campaign plans, contingency plans, and theater security cooperation activities.
- Advise Government leadership on regional dynamics, cultural sensitivities, partner nation capabilities, and operational implications.
- Coordinate with intelligence, civil affairs, information operations, psychological operations (MISO), logistics, and operational planning staffs to synchronize planning efforts.
- Support operational planning teams, mission analysis, course of action development, rehearsals, exercises, and operational assessments.
- Identify socio-cultural risks, opportunities, and second- and third-order effects impacting mission execution.
- Develop executive-level briefings, decision support products, operational assessments, and strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate engagement activities with U.S. Government agencies, coalition partners, host nation organizations, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations, as appropriate.
- Support operational experimentation, lessons learned, and after-action reviews to improve future mission planning.
- Develop standard operating procedures, analytical methodologies, and planning frameworks supporting socio-cultural integration.
- Mentor analysts and planners while promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous process improvement.
- Support contingency operations and emergent mission requirements requiring rapid socio-cultural assessments and operational planning.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting functional analysis, operational planning, socio-cultural analysis, regional studies, intelligence analysis, civil affairs, or mission planning for Government or Department of Defense organizations.
