Cybersecurity, Systems Engineer
As a network administrator on our team, you’ll be integral to architecting, deploying, and operating complex network environments across various DoW clients in the Indo-Pacific. You’ll create and employ new architectures to meet client requirements adhering to Zero Trust best practices and IC data header guidelines. You’ll interface with key stakeholders and users, including internal delivery and engineering teams as well as cybersecurity professionals, to assure resilient data‑centric delivery.
You’ll support the design and implementation of custom policy to ensure positive control of data across hybrid cloud environments. You’ll mentor the next set of data administrators to help them grow into tomorrow’s delivery experts.
- Architecting, deploying, and operating complex network environments across various DoW clients in the Indo-Pacific.
- Creating and employing new architectures to meet client requirements, adhering to Zero Trust best practices and IC data header guidelines.
- Coordinating with key stakeholders and users, including internal delivery, engineering, and cybersecurity teams.
- Supporting the design and implementation of custom policies for data control across hybrid cloud environments.
- Mentoring junior data administrators.
- 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring network solutions, including TCP/IP, subnetting, IPv6, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, NAT/PAT, MPLS, QoS, or DHCP.
- Experience in SD‑WAN implementation with Cisco, Juniper, or Versa.
- Experience with hybrid networks, firewall and security policies.
- Experience documenting and diagramming technical architectures.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Experience working in federal, DoW, or IC agency environments.
- Experience with a critical agency’s Type 1 cryptographic devices and CSfC.
- Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering.
- Vendor certifications from Cisco, Juniper, or F5.

Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $77,600.00 – $ (annualized USD). The posted range reflects a typical salary for this role and is one component of the total compensation package. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
