Channel Account Manager (Cybersecurity SaaS – Threat Intelligence)
Location: Germany (Remote)
Our client, a fast-growing threat intelligence cybersecurity startup, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Channel Account Manager (CAM) to join their expanding GTM team. In this role, you will drive the growth and success of the company’s channel partner program, develop high-impact relationships with strategic security partners, and generate revenue through indirect sales channels.
The ideal candidate has strong understanding of the threat intelligence ecosystem, and a proven ability to build scalable partner networks in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with VARs, MSSPs, MSPs, and security-focused partners.
- Enable and support partners to effectively position and sell the company’s threat intelligence solutions.
- Drive new business and grow channel revenue across the full sales cycle.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners to expand market reach.
- Collaborate with GTM teams to execute joint go-to-market strategies and partner growth plans.
- Track pipeline, monitor KPIs, and ensure partners meet revenue and performance goals.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the threat intelligence platform and its competitive advantages.
- Gather partner feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competition to inform GTM and product strategy.
- 5–7+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or account management within cybersecurity or SaaS.
- Must have worked with security startups or worked in CYBER.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets via indirect sales channels.
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, ideally with exposure to threat intelligence.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.) and sales enablement platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Previous experience working in a high‑growth startup environment.
- Experience building or scaling partner programs.
- Understanding of SaaS metrics, sales processes, and subscription models.
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or partner management credentials are a plus.
- Play a critical role in shaping and scaling the partner ecosystem for an innovative cybersecurity startup.
