Maui Linen Supply is seeking a dependable and organized Production Dispatcher to support our production operations in Kahului. This position plays an important role in coordinating the movement of linen throughout the production process, communicating production priorities, tracking customer orders, and helping ensure linen is processed accurately and on time.

Position Summary

The Production Dispatcher helps coordinate the daily flow of linen through our commercial laundry operation. The position works closely with Production Supervisors, Managers, Transportation, and other team members to identify customer requirements, communicate production priorities, monitor linen movement, and help ensure completed orders are ready for delivery.

The Production Dispatcher must be able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, communicate effectively with different departments, maintain accurate records, and adjust priorities based on operational and customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Production Dispatcher typically performs a variety of duties, which may include:

• Coordinate and monitor the daily flow of linen through the production process based on customer requirements, delivery schedules, and operational priorities.
• Communicate production priorities and special customer requirements to Production Leads, Supervisors, and other appropriate team members.
• Monitor the status of customer linen and help ensure orders are processed and completed according to established schedules.
• Coordinate with the Transportation Department regarding linen requirements, delivery priorities, shortages, special requests, and other customer needs.
• Track linen and customer orders as they move through sorting, washing, finishing, packing, and staging.
• Verify that completed linen is properly identified, organized, and staged for the correct customer or delivery route.
• Review production paperwork, customer requirements, checklists, reports, and other records for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify and communicate shortages, delays, quality concerns, or other issues that may affect the timely completion of customer orders.
• Assist Production Supervisors and Leads in adjusting production priorities when customer requirements, equipment availability, staffing, or operational conditions change.
• Maintain clear and timely communication between Production, Transportation, and other departments.
• Assist with preparing, updating, and maintaining production and dispatch records.
• Help ensure linen carts, bins, and completed orders are properly labeled and directed to the appropriate staging or loading areas.
• Monitor the production floor and follow up on priority items to help ensure production requirements are completed.
• Immediately report significant production delays, equipment issues, linen shortages, quality concerns, or other operational problems to the Production Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, attendance, and operational policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Lead, Supervisor, or Manager to meet operational and customer needs.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in production, dispatching, logistics, warehousing, commercial laundry, hospitality, or a similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and pay close attention to details.
