Merchandiser​/Cashier

Compensation

Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if the criteria are met.

• Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise, and direct them to the parts specialist if needed.
• Check out customers purchasing front‑floor merchandise in a quick and friendly manner and handle returns efficiently.
• Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front‑floor security, and assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Keep the front area stocked, fronted, and clean, following planograms or displays, and complete sales preparation.
• Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms; ensure all sale signs and flyers are in place and priced correctly.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, overstock returns, and completion of the store To‑Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
• Clock in and out in accordance with company policy.
• If the express lane is not in use and the counter is busy, finish tickets and accept money, checks, or credit cards.

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages;
  Spanish is highly desired.
