The Assistant Manager works alongside the Store Manager to lead the daily operations of Dairy Road 76. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for helping manage the team, maintaining operational excellence, ensuring outstanding customer service, and supporting the overall success of the store.

• Full-Time Salaried Position (Approximately 50 hours per week)

• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ensure every customer is greeted promptly and professionally.
• Assist with supervising and motivating the store team.
• Perform cashier duties when needed.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and audit cashier drawers.
• Assist with employee scheduling and daily shift management.
• Receive, stock, price, and merchandise inventory.
• Assist with ordering merchandise and food products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol, tobacco, food safety, and company policies.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability.
• Communicate clearly with the Store Manager and leadership team.
• Help train, coach, and develop employees.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
• Indoor retail environment with occasional outdoor responsibilities.
• Fast-paced, customer-focused atmosphere.
• Frequent interaction with customers, employees, and vendors.

• Cash register
• Soda fountain equipment and CO₂ tanks

• Car wash equipment (occasional reset when needed)

• Approximately 50 hours per week
• Five 10-hour shifts
• Flexible availability required
• Must be available for day, evening, weekend, holiday, and occasional overnight coverage as business needs require.

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, reach, kneel, squat, climb, and stock merchandise throughout the shift.
• Perform repetitive cashier and stocking duties.

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Valid Hawaii Driver's License and reliable transportation

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Must obtain and maintain a valid Hawaii Liquor Card.
• On-the-job training provided.

• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
