Merchandising Specialist

O'Reilly Automotive is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to support in-store product presentation and inventory accuracy. In this role, you will set and reset planograms, stock shelves, verify pricing, and ensure signage and displays meet company standards. You'll collaborate with store and district teams, travel to assigned locations, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow merchandising layouts, lift and move merchandise, and deliver excellent customer-focused service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain planograms, resets, and promotional displays to company standards
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise to ensure product availability and presentation
• Verify pricing, labels, and signage for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor and backroom areas
• Collaborate with store and district leadership on merchandising priorities and schedules
• Travel to assigned store locations within the region as needed
• Monitor inventory levels, identify outs and discrepancies, and communicate replenishment needs
• Follow all safety, loss-prevention, and operational procedures
• Provide friendly, helpful assistance to customers while working on the sales floor
• Document completed merchandising tasks and report issues or opportunities to supervisors
