As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities.

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, checkpoints approaches, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

* Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required by post orders, and report unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, and/or unattended property.

* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd direction, coordinating with site representatives and/or public agencies, and documenting actions taken.

* Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate security-related observations to supervisors and site contacts in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be 21+ years of age.

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

* Be comfortable using computer or tablet preferred.

* Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
