We are looking for a dedicated Loss Prevention Agent to join our team! This position is responsible for protecting company assets in accordance with approved company procedures by detecting, detaining, and addressing shop‑lifting activity. The role includes monitoring store operations, identifying and investigating suspicious behavior, documenting incidents, and supporting efforts to reduce shrinkage. The Loss Prevention Agent also collaborates with law enforcement, participates in investigations and court proceedings, and helps maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

• Observe shoppers, detain and interview individuals suspected of shop‑lifting in accordance with local laws
• Complete and provide all necessary paperwork essential in referring theft cases to the police for criminal prosecution
• Participate in court trials during the prosecution of shop‑lifting cases
• Create and maintain records of apprehensions, interviews, witnesses, evidence, and dispositions of recovered merchandise
• Prevent merchandise theft and reduce shrinkage by monitoring store activities and ensuring employee compliance with company policies
• Provide surveillance of contractors, vendors, etc. performing store‑related services
• Maintain liaison with local police
• Maintain public order on store/company premises as necessary
• Assist in internal investigations as required

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid Driver’s license and a clean Driver’s abstract are required.
• Able to work flexible shifts (day, night, weekend, holidays)
• Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.
• Have excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and basic computer skills.
• Must have ability to exercise good judgment.
• Loss Prevention/Security experience preferred.
• TB Clearance required.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

This is a full‑time hourly position; wage rate is commensurate with experience.
