As an Airport Security Officer - CCTV in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. In the CCTV unit, you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property.

This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Position Type:
Full Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Will be working different posts in order to understand the geography of the airport

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminal areas, public spaces, restricted access points, and perimeter locations as assigned.

* Monitor access points and observe activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations within a government transportation location.

* Support travelers, visitors, and staff with directions, information, and assistance while documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

* Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
