Airport Security - Dispatch Part Time Officer

Kahului, HI. Position Type:
Part Time - Overnight. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Tues 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM, Wed 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM, Thur 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM.

• Valid driver's license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
• Security experience 1+ years
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain an AOA badge (Federal background check in accordance with DOT requirements)
• NOTE:
  
  First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using training and established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for security concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials.
• Work collaboratively with team members and client representatives to address security‑related needs and concerns.

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Criminal histories considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
