Position Type:
Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements

* Valid Driver's License

* 21+ years of age

* Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam

* Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public access areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor access points, observe foot and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.

* Support day-to-day operations at a government location by providing directions, assisting with crowd management, and following post orders related to security-related concerns and customer interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
