Position Type:
Full Time - Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements

* Valid Driver's License

* 21+ years of age

* Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam

* Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.

* Assist with security-related support during alarms, medical events, evacuations, and/or traffic or pedestrian issues while maintaining professional interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Access control and badge experience is preferred.

* Alarm panel experience is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
