Airport Security Officer Patrol Access Control
- Kahului, HI
Position Type:
Part Time
- Morning
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour with an additional hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
Job Schedule:
Wed and Sun, 05:30 AM – 02:00 PM.
- Valid Driver's License
- 21+ years of age
- Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points, observe site activity, and communicate with local personnel and or public agencies regarding security-related concerns or operational issues.
- Assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic during routine operations, special events, and or emergency situations while following post orders and location procedures.
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
