Airport Security Officer:
Patrol Access – Kahului, HI. Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. $22.50 / Hour plus hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
1+ years of Security Experience
21+ years of age
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and e

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in a courteous and professional manner.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminal areas, public access points, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor entry and restricted areas, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and assist with access control procedures in accordance with location requirements.
Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, operational issues, and/or incidents requiring follow-up.

Minimum Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
