- Trainer
Allied Universal® is hiring a Client Billed Clerical
- Trainer. The Security Trainer is responsible for conducting training activities in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Allied Universal standards. This Security Trainer will train CPR/First Aid/AED, Defensive Tactics (e.g., handcuffs, pepper spray, batons, Tasers, firearms), Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles, bicycle, golf cart, Segway), Fire Safety Services (emergency plans; occupants, floor wardens and staff presentations;
and evacuation drills), and other value-added services such as workplace violence/active shooter training.
Responsibilities include:
- Work in conjunction with operational partners to develop practical training programs at the client and branch level
- Identify, conduct vetting, and establish relationships with local training academies
- Communicate with stakeholders
- Deliver field training programs in accordance with laws and regulations
- Conduct CPR/First Aid/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
- Conduct Defensive Tactics training
- Conduct Mobility Devices training
- Conduct field training for Security Professionals and Supervisors
- Deliver Fire/Life Safety Services and other value-added services
- Conduct leadership training
- Conduct special projects on an as-needed basis
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Valid driver's license or ability to pass a state licensing test
- Minimum of two years of classroom instructor experience
- Ability to work independently
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft programs
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple assignments
- Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment
Preferred qualifications include:
- NRA Law Enforcement Instructor certification
- College coursework in related fields
- Prior experience in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement, or military
- Experience in security operations
