Security Officer:
Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Kahului, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, staff, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while demonstrating Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and e

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, airport personnel, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, check credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
