As an Airport
Security Officer:
Customer Service Patrol Driver in Kahului, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and e

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, roadways, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, prohibited activity, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate professionally with airport personnel, public agencies, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
