Signal Security of Hawaii is hiring an Advanced Security Officer for a commercial site in Kahului. This is a step above standard patrol — you'll oversee site operations, support your team, and be the person everyone on post looks to when it matters. We're looking for an experienced professional who holds themselves and others to a high standard and leads by example every single shift.

• Overseeing all security operations at an assigned commercial site
• Leading and supporting a team of officers throughout the shift
• Assisting with the training and onboarding of new and junior officers
• Holding yourself and your team accountable to post orders, procedures, and conduct standards
• Conducting vehicle and foot patrols of the property and monitoring all access points
• Writing and reviewing accurate, detailed incident reports
• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, property management, and supervisors
• De-escalating situations with confidence and professionalism
• Maintaining and overseeing the care of company equipment on site

• $23/hour starting pay with room to grow

• 21 years or older
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security
• Active Hawaii State Guard Card (non-negotiable)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (non-negotiable)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (non-negotiable)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable
• High level of professionalism in appearance, conduct, and communication
• Reliable transportation and a device for communication
• Physically able to lift up to 20 lbs

• Prior experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory security role
• Familiarity with commercial site security operations
• Experience training or mentoring junior officers
• Strong situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure
