As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Reporting in Kahului, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs.

Pre-Employment Requirement:
Security Experience - 2+ Years (C114)

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, retail personnel, and/or law enforcement as directed.

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
