This position is for a full‑time Maintenance Tech I to work at Kahului Lani, a 165‑unit affordable housing community in Kahului, HI. Qualified candidates must have 1+ year of related apartment maintenance experience, knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance, a CADL license, clean DMV record, reliable transportation, and basic computer knowledge. Salary range: $19.95–$30.40 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $19.95–$25.18 per hour, DOE.

• Basic plumbing tasks: toilet, faucet, and minor pipe repair.
• Painting work: preparation, sanding, and color matching.
• Electrical repairs: light switch, cords, ballasts, bulbs, and circuit breakers.
• Lock replacement and adjustment, bolt installation, window locks, latches, and keys.
• Screen door repair and replacement, sheetrock repair when needed.
• Detailing turnover units, completing work within five days.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• CADL license, clean DMV record, and reliable transportation.

EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who receive a conditional job offer. Candidates must submit and pass our criminal background requirements.
