The Crew Leader heads up a 2-5 person team responsible for the installation of solar PV systems. The Crew Leader reports to the Construction Manager/Crew Superintendent, and is responsible for a safe, high quality installation that meets the design specifications. The Crew Leader is expected to work in a collaborative, cooperative manner with other Crews and Crew Leaders on a job.

The Lead Installer is responsible for ensuring the following duties are completed successfully.

• Devising and directing efficiency and quality for solar installation teams under their direction.
• Responsible for timely completion of projects.
• Constantly working to improved performance and productivity of team.
• Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware.
• Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment.
• Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC).
• Document completion of completed installation.
• Reports to be completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow company policies.
• Maintain a neat and clean job site.
• Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety as directed.
• Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.
• Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, co-workers and the general public.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management

• Minimum 2 years Solar PV experience.
• Minimum 1 year as a Crew Leader.
• Works well in a small team environment
• Comfortable climbing ladders plus standing and working on residential roof tops (single and 2-story in both hot and cold weather.
• Can comfortably lift 50 to 75 lbs and can push, pull, bend, stand or kneel for extended periods of time.
• Follows all OSHA and company safety requirements without question.
• Follows all company operations standards and processes.
• Candidate owns their own tools
• Personal reliable transportation
• Clean Driving record
