Heavy Truck Driver - Lihue, Kaua'

Recruitment Number: 26-0125 Responsibilities

• Operate a truck with a factory‑rated capacity of 5 tons or more, or a tank truck with capacity over 1200 gallons as a major work assignment.
• Perform operational maintenance of the vehicle.
• Perform manual tasks related to general construction and maintenance work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Legal Authorization to Work: Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident alien, or otherwise eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• Experience: One (1) year of work experience operating trucks with a factory‑rated capacity greater than 1.5 tons, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Special Requirements: Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with N endorsement (tank vehicles 1,000 gallons or more capacity) and no restrictions relating to codes E (manual transmission), L (air brakes), and Z (full air brakes) at the time of application.
• Note: A copy of the CDL must be submitted at the time of application; otherwise the application will be rejected. If a valid out‑of‑state CDL is obtained, the applicant must transfer it to a Hawaii‑issued CDL before the employment start date.
