Salary: $4,040 to $5,112 per month (SR-12, Step C to I)

• Supervises one or more subordinate supervisors and has overall responsibility for two or more groups of subordinates who perform moderately complex clerical work comparable to Office Assistant II.
• Serves as the immediate supervisor of a group of subordinates performing journey-level clerical work comparable to Office Assistant III—independent performance of complex assignments requiring judgment.
• Serves as the immediate supervisor of a group of subordinates performing journey-level clerical work comparable to Office Assistant IV—independent performance of complex assignments requiring judgment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Legal Authorization to Work: Citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

  Experience:
  
  3½ years of responsible work experience involving independent clerical tasks, knowledge of office practices and procedures, and competence in using office equipment, English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic.
• Non‑Qualifying
  
  Experience:
  
  Prior work limited to simple, repetitive clerical tasks (e.g., sorting, packaging, basic correspondence handling) is not considered qualifying.
• Supervisory Aptitude: Demonstrated potential for supervisory duties through leadership roles, supervisory assignments, or training courses in supervision, along with favorable supervisor appraisals.
• Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements may apply.
• Other Requirements: Conditional offer holders will be subject to drug screening and an intensive background check.
