Mid Level Automotive Technician - Kailua, Hawaii

About the Role and Compensation

As a Mid‑Level Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you will use mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues, perform line technician services—including routine inspections, maintenance, and system diagnostics—and deliver outstanding customer service.

• Perform brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
• Diagnose vehicles and perform road tests.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report safety issues immediately to management.
• Promote teamwork to deliver accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Adhere to Company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians.
• Maintain clear communication and feedback with guests about their vehicle service.

Store hours may include weekends and some holidays; shift schedules vary by location.

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ASE certification.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
• Experience with electrical, air conditioning, and primary/advanced fuel ignition systems.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
