Construction Planner / Coordinator – Kailua, HI
We are seeking a skilled Construction Planner/Coordinator to support project planning, construction logistics, and field operations across multiple industrial construction projects. In this role, you will coordinate tooling and equipment, assist with pre‑construction planning, support project scheduling, and ensure smooth communication between project managers, field crews, and procurement teams.

- Office‑based partner for the site‑based Construction Manager, enhancing communication for the construction group.
- Plan, coordinate, select, assign, and dispatch best‑available manpower, tooling, and equipment necessary to successfully execute the project.
- Handle compliance aspects of safety and quality control for field construction operations.
- Assist with general groundskeeping, tool house coordination, and other tasks to support the team.
- Require high level of collaboration, strong self‑management, and proactive task completion.
- Plan, select, assign, and dispatch best‑available tooling and equipment to successfully execute the project.
- Administer and coordinate company Safety and Quality policies to support field construction operations.
- Assist Construction Group in manpower moves.
- Lead continuous improvement of regional construction operations.
- Develop specialized knowledge in construction means, methods, tooling, equipment, and NDE processes.
- Interest in construction equipment and practices.
- Proficient in digital word processing and spreadsheet applications (MS Office or Google Docs/Sheets).
- Continuous Improvement mindset valued.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, time, task, and priority management.
- Proactive and reliable self‑starter comfortable collaborating with a team.
- Student or graduate in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
- Overtime eligible.
- 401(k) with company match (5%) after 6 months, vested immediately.
