Design Thinking and Teacher-10th Grade

Overview

Le Jardin Academy is seeking a Design Thinking and Applications Teacher - 10th Grade (Regular Full-time) for the  school year. This position designs and delivers engaging, hands-on instruction using woodworking, metalworking and fabrication, while also managing the tools and equipment in the class. A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Education, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, is required.

MYP and DP experience is preferred. Computer coding experience is a plus. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Salary range: $58,126 to $106,415.

Secondary School

• Design, plan, and deliver hands-on instruction in woodworking, metalworking, and fabrication; manage tools and equipment in the classroom.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
• MYP and DP experience preferred.
• Computer coding experience is a plus.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
