Extended Day Program Coordinator (Regular Part‑time)
Hourly pay range: $22.00 – $26.00
Le Jardin Academy is looking for an Extended Day Program Coordinator to support the daily operations of the PK‑8 Extended day and summer enrichment programs. Ideal candidates are proactive, dependable, organized, and enjoy working collaboratively in a fast‑paced school environment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Enrichment and Extended Day Program Manager
Monday – Friday, 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. (Annual)
General Responsibilities- Manage and supervise students in sibling care from 2:45 – 3:30 p.m.
- Support positive behavior management, student engagement, and structured routines for PK‑8 students after school, ensuring activities align with LJA policies, procedures, and mission.
- Assist the manager with meetings, orientations, ongoing training and new hire onboarding for extended day staff.
- Communicate daily with the Auxiliary team, Supervisor, and Extended Day team.
- Check and respond to emails daily.
- Assist Manager with DHS compliance documentation, track training hours and digital registration forums.
- Assist on the playground and in classrooms after school as needed.
- Follow all school policies and procedures detailed in the Employee Handbook and other duties as specified by the Supervisor.
- Minimum 2 years of college coursework.
- Valid Preschool/ECE certification. Full certification must be obtained within one year of employment; provisional status until completed.
- 6–12 months experience working with children in a school setting.
- 6–12 months experience developing and implementing activities for students.
- Ability to efficiently manage attendance records, spreadsheets, email communication, and digital documentation systems.
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Family Studies.
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 credits of Early Childhood or willingness to obtain within one year of employment.
- Preference for individuals who meet the required experience criteria.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support positive student behavior and classroom routines.
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments.
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and appreciation for diversity.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and initiative.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, email communication, and digital record‑keeping.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits- Hourly wage.
