The Hawaii State Department of Education is looking for qualified individuals to teach in special education roles. Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s degree and a valid special education license. Ideal candidates will have experience in a PK-2 classroom setting and the skills to effectively manage IEP meetings.
Furthermore, candidates must be prepared to pursue the necessary licensing requirements actively. If you are hired without a teaching license, a maximum of 3 years will be given to fulfill this obligation, ensuring alignment with state education standards.
