Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business teacher to lead our Foundations of Business course, which serves as the essential cornerstone for our Creative Arts and Leadership Academy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exposing students to core foundational components for all pathways in the creative arts and leadership academy while also exposing students to the standards of business principles while fostering the leadership and entrepreneurial mindset necessary for success within our specialized academy pathways.

• Minimum qualification:
  
  Bachelor's Degree (unless designated Career and Technology Education positions).
• Upon hire you must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or an Emergency Hire Permit.
• If not licensed at hire, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license.
• Enrolled in a Teacher’s Education Program to continue employment with the Department.
• Demonstrate active pursuit toward meeting Hawaii licensing requirements each year.
