Le Jardin Academy is looking for a Temporary (One Year) Secondary Student Support Assistant for the School Year. This position will provide various facets of support for Secondary students, including assignment completion, skill and content-based tutoring, and classroom support. Hours are: 7:45am-4:15pm, Monday-Friday. High School diploma required, Bachelor degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years working with children in a school or educational setting is required.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Hourly pay range starting at $21.00 per hour.

Job ScopeThe position will provide various facets of support for Secondary students, including assignment completion, skill and content-based tutoring, and classroom support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide ATL or content tutoring to students during scheduled academic support blocks.
- Assist in the supervision of a Secondary Hale/Hui as assigned by Secondary Deans. This could include attending grade-level student support meetings and Hale/Hui planning meetings and training.
- Work with the Learning Support Specialist in the Secondary to provide appropriate support and interventions for Learning Support students.
- Help develop, coordinate, and communicate support block schedules for students identified as needing additional support.
- Collaborate with the Dean of Students, Dean of Academics, Learning Support Specialists, and teachers to ensure understanding of specific student needs and appropriate interventions.
- Join specific classes as additional instructional and/or classroom management support when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience- High School diploma or GED
- 3 Years of experience working with children
- College coursework a plus
- Experience working in a school or educational setting
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
