As an automotive Internet Marketing Manager, your primary objective will be to generate more traffic or appointments by Managing our website, incoming leads, social media, and third-party vendors. You will need a strong background in communication, people skills, and website management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Manages all incoming Internet leads.
- Answers all incoming internet leads promptly (less than 2 minutes).
- Answers any questions or concerns the consumer has and build a relationship. The goal of the lead is to be converted into an appointment.
- Work with CRM platform and AGM/GM to properly ensure that all leads are being measured and tracked using the lead management tool to provide accurate data to increase leads and generate more vehicle sales.
- Manages Internet and BDC bucket.
- Proactively manages the BDC and Internet records. Ensure we complete all daily follow-ups and consistently reach our customer base to generate more leads and vehicle sales.
- Manages all social media platforms. Instagram, Facebook, ETC.
- Generates engaging and relevant content for the social media accounts, Google Business, and websites. Content should be created on a weekly and monthly basis. Ensures all content generated complies with OEM requirements, federal, and state regulations.
- Ensures all postings are aligned with company ethics and are not offensive.
- Ensures that all postings comply with state, federal, and factory guidelines.
- Develops brand awareness by participating in community events.
- Develops brand awareness by hosting community fundraising events. Works with other dealership, within the Company auto group, to host multi-dealership events.
- Develops relationships with other businesses for collaboration to increase awareness.
- Organizes and facilitates dealership-sponsored events leveraging dealership facilities.
- Manages Dealership website(s).
- Ensures all new and used vehicle pictures are uploaded to the website(s) within 3 business days of receiving the vehicle and that we have an 80% inventory of all our new and used inventory online.
- Works with our internet provider to ensure website(s) optimization on all platforms, Mobile, desktop, and tablet.
- Ensures the website(s) complies with factory OEM guidelines.
- Ensures the website(s) comply with all federal and state regulations (FTC GLBA, FCC, etc.). Works with the CISO to determine if changes need to be made in order to align with requirements.
- Ensures all website(s) banners or advertising are refreshed monthly and audit all specials to ensure they have not expired.
- Works with graphics designer(s) and GM to keep the website(s) active with new content and specials for the dealer and manufacturer.
- Ensures all employee's pictures are up to date on the website(s).
- Works with social media vendor(s) to increase following and engagement.
- Works with Website providers to increase SEO
- Works onsite and works collaboratively with the Sales team.
- Complete and remains current with all mandatory manufacturing, Safety compliance, Safeguard and Cybersecurity training.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Assists with ensuring the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean.
- Additional duties assigned by the General Manager, COO, or President.

- Driving is essential to the position; must have and maintain current, valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract.
- Several years of automotive industry experience (with proper management or salesperson roles preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills
