Customer Service Rep
Description
Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and employee availability, as either variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular, or full‑time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. They may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher, acting as a representative of Regal in a manner consistent with the mission statement and policies.
- Regular and consistent attendance

- Operate POS system, manage cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes, and coupons.
- Upsell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to phone calls and guest inquiries in a manner consistent with guest service philosophy.
- Operate POS system and maintain accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and coupons as well as concession stock inventory.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Operate, prepare, and clean all concession equipment.
- Upsell/suggestive sell.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
- Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
- Ensure current alcohol certification and training where applicable.
- If theatre sells alcohol, must be of legal age to sell or serve alcohol.
- Complete required training on sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stub, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats when necessary.
- Enforce MPAA rating system.
- Conduct theater inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, prevent film and content theft, and maintain a safe environment.
- Report problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed by management.
- Clean auditoriums after scheduled shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby, hallways, and other areas.
- Monitor cleanliness and operation of theater vending equipment.
- Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Education/Experience
:
Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress toward completion required. - Language Ability
:
Good public speaking, effective listening and clear response. - Math Ability
:
Perform calculations with speed and accuracy, identify and correct errors. - Reasoning Ability
:
Identify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence. - Personal Skills
:
Excellent communication skills with customers, co‑workers and management; establish goals, budget time, and set priorities.
Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching, talking, and hearing. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
