Human Resources Specialist

Total Quality is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to support core people operations for a growing organization. This onsite role in Kailua-Kona, HI will help keep recruiting moving, onboarding running smoothly, and HR documentation organized, while also supporting employee recognition, events, and training logistics.

In this full-time position, you will provide hands‑on administrative and coordination support across multiple HR functions. The role is well‑suited to someone with at least a year of HR, recruiting, office administration, or related support experience who can manage competing priorities and maintain a strong service mindset for employees and candidates.

• Support recruiting and hiring activities
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
• Assist with employee recognition programs and HR communications
• Help organize employee events, training sessions, and job fairs
• Maintain HR records, reports, and onboarding documentation
• Provide administrative support for the HR team
• Assist with special projects and other HR initiatives as needed

• Experience in HR, recruiting, office administration, or a related support role is preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-first approach
• Willingness to learn and support a variety of HR functions
• Strong customer service mindset when working with employees and candidates
