Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Location:

Kailua, Hawaii, United States. This travel temporary assignment starts 08/17/2026 and runs for 8 weeks.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,160 to $2,301, with a 12‑hour rotating shift (3x12). Work occurs in an acute care perioperative area, providing direct, coordinated nursing care in the OR and collaborating with the surgical team.

• Deliver perioperative nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Circulate or scrub in standard surgical procedures, maintain sterile technique, and perform surgical counts as required.
• Assess patient status before, during, and after procedures; monitor intraoperative vitals and respond to changes.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the perioperative team; supervise and direct activities of other nursing staff as appropriate.
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately in the medical record; contribute to care plans and ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, addressing questions and providing explanations as needed.

• Active Registered Nurse license (Hawaii or eligible to practice in Hawaii)
• OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work a 12‑hour rotating shift
