Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring HI RN licensure and NRP/FHM certifications.

Requirements

• Active HI RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No candidates with a prior hit on license will be considered

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 06:30 PM-07:00 AM
• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment environment
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care process
• Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
