As a Security Officer - Hospital Route Driver in Kailua, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role with a flexible schedule, using our Claim a Shift platform to build shifts. This is an unarmed Patrol Officer position at a busy healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to deter security concerns, and provide exceptional customer service with calm, clear communication.

This is a driving post, using a company vehicle to cover assigned areas and assist staff, patients, and visitors.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and hospital access protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and building perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance calmly and with problem-solving.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying identification when required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in locations per site policy.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in written and/or electronic reports; communicate timely updates to hospital leadership and Allied Universal management.

• A valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
