As a Security Guard - Medical Center Driver Patrol in Kailua, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings and related industries. This is a Part-Time, unarmed Patrol Officer role at a busy healthcare location. The position involves driving between areas, performing high-visibility patrols, and responding to security-related concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. A valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required.

Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour

Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and local emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes, reporting unusual activity and hazards according to post orders.
• Control access by monitoring doors and restricted areas, assisting with visitor directions, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts in accordance with location procedures.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, participate in shift briefings, and communicate observations to the site supervisor and/or Allied Universal leadership.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
