Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Clinic in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as healthcare. In this part‑time role you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new opportunities on our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Fri 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sat 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and support during busy periods, after‑hours activity, and/or restricted‑area concerns.
- Support hospital and clinic operations by communicating professionally with medical personnel, patients, and visitors while following post orders and reporting policy violations or hazards.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
